Review: Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and Instant Boost Skin Tonic

Anyone following any british beauty blogs or youtube gurus will have heard these mentioned time and time again. They seem to become everyone and their mothers holy grail cleanser and the one everyone seems to eventually return to. I was of course intrigued like the rest of you and bought my own "starter kit" almost a year ago.

Review: Avène Extremely Gentle Cleanser

If you have sensitive skin, Avène is a brand you will have heard mentioned again and again. Almost all of their products, like so many french pharmacy skincare brands, are suitable for, if not targeted at, sensitive and irritated skin. Their Thermal Water spray  (Eau Thermale) is a favorite of mine, and this cleanser is supposed to be "Rich in thermal spring water" so I figured I'd give it a go!

Guide to: Eye creams or "My eye creams and why I need all of them"

Let me just start by saying that I did not go out and buy all of these in one day, I also did not plan on purchasing all of these, it just kind of happened over time and while using them realised I couldn't live without an eye cream in each of these categories.

Haul: Marseille Haul!

As usual I have picked a lot of stuff up on my latest travel, some stuff I needed, some not so much, though I convinced myself of so rather brilliantly I must say!

Review: Uriage Tolederm Hydra-Soothing Cream

A cream by french skincare brand Uriage for intolerant and hyper-reactive skin, hypoallergenic and without perfume (of course). I mentioned this in my March favourites post and said I've been using this a bit different to what is intended, and now I'll finally explain.

Review: Yves Rocher Arnica Essentiel Precious hand and nail oil

Yves Rocher is a line that doesn't get talked about much. It's understandable, as there aren't many free standing stores anywhere I've lived before, but when I moved to France they were pretty much everywhere, and a lot of french women use their skincare products, as well as their make-up!

Review: Institut Esthederm Reflets De Soleil Sun Sheen Intense Tan Self-Tanning Body Jelly and Face Cream

Summer is just around the corner and we will all start showing bare legs and arms in no time! For those of us that can't pull of pale and interesting, this means it's time to start getting this years supply of self tanners ready! I've been trying a couple and first up for review is this extravagant, expensive fancy french one by Institut Esthederm. Worth it though?

Review: Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Cream SPF 30

With summer just around the corner I'm sure you're all eager to find the best sunscreens to protect your face from all kinds of dangers, and so I thought I'd write a little post about one of my favourites!

Overview: OPI Holland mini collection

When I first got this a few months back, I didn't think too much of it. I thought it was ok, that I would like the pink and red as always and that was pretty much it. This nice little mini collection completely surprised me and I ended up being really blown away by some colours, and pleasantly surprised by others.

Review: Bobbi Brown Oil-Free Even Finish Compact Foundation

Last year I bought this at Debenhams during a lunch break. It was a bit of an impulse buy, and since when have those ever been a good idea?

Review: Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator Serum

I bought my first bottle of this at Selfridges amidst all the new serum hype right around this time last year. A very charming sales assistant convinced a somewhat skeptical me with their great return policy, if you don't like it you can return it up until 3 weeks, or something, I don't remember exactly so don't run over there and quote me on that! They even added a free concealer/mascara duo to make the experience even more pleasant. Now it's been almost a year that I've been using this and thought it was well time for a review.

Review: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum

30 years of innovation, inspired by groundbreaking DNA research, 20+ Patents worldwide.. These are phrases from just quickly gazing over Estee Lauder's information about their classic Advanced Night Repair serum on their website. It's hard not to be at least intrigued..

Review: Givenchy Phenomen' Eyes Mascara in 1 Extension Black

I dare say this is Givenchy's most famous cosmetic. I have heard great things of the Phenomen 'Eyes mascara for the longest time, though for some reason never got around to actually trying it out for myself, until now.

Review: La Roche-Posay Effaclar Cleanser and Toner

This review is of two products from the La Roche-Posay Effaclar series, the Purifying Foaming Gel for oily sensitive skin and the astringent lotion micro-exfoliant. I've used these from time to time the past year, increasing the frequency recently to everyday to really test them out, as well as get to my goal of finally finishing a lot of products up!
