Beyond looking beautifully shiny and pretty in glittery gold and silver these babies are more than just glorified spraycans filled with water, or are they?
Make that the long, time consuming, all sucking, mega expensive, sad hairdays due to no styling allowed road to recovery. I made the biggest mistake of all. I didn't overexplain to my hairdresser what I wanted, put my trust in her and now I am paying the price, tenfold.

This past weekend I visited Paris for a romantic 4 day long weekend and it was amazing as always! It wasn't my first time in Paris, but it was my first time in Versaille and it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been!
Truly a cult product up there with YSL's Touche Eclat, Laura Mercier's Tinted Mosturiser, Shu's Cleansing Oil and the likes. I'm sure you have all heard of this one before, a lot of you have tried it, some of you already swear by it, and for those of you still curious, there's this review.
We've all heard of Institut Esthederm by now. The french skincare brand is known as the "Rolls Royce of Suncare" and has received many rave reviews for their somewhat highly priced products with different sun protection description than the regular SPF.
I featured this foundation in a haul some time ago, but wanted to test it out properly before writing a review. Having tested it out in both cold and warm conditions, on weekends, long workdays and during flights, I think it is definitely time to add my opinion to the mix.
This is probably not something I would have ever tried out had I not recieved a generous 3 samples of it, including a few others with a purchase I made in a french pharmacy last summer. When looking at all the products literally brimming over on the shelves in France, from both more familiar brands and others with nice appealing packaging, Roge Cavailles's 2 skincare products for the face are usually located at the bottom and not really ever talked about.
I've always known of this product, seen it on the shelves, not thought much of it. I've walked straight past it and chosen something else. Can't say I even considered trying it out, for no good reason really. One day about 3 weeks ago I was in H&M and saw this for 1.99 Euros! Brilliant, I thought, as I was just out of body lotion anyway..
I first got introduced to The Body Shop's hand creams about a year ago when a friend bought me their popular hemp hand cream. I was quite pleased with it, though wasn't too fond of the scent. When I then saw they had just released a few new scents I excitedly picked a few up, one of them was the Wild Rose Nourisihing Hand Butter for mature skin. I bought it with the intention of using it as an over night treatment and so got the cotton gloves with it as well.
Having almost bought this on several occasions, being somewhat put of by the mega sized bottle (what if I didn't like it?) I finally took the plunge at the end of last summer. The "Built-in Body Lotion" is what got me as I have extremely dry skin on my back, arms and legs and while applying body lotion after every shower deals with it, the thought that I just might not always have to was quite appealing..
These are products that I have used and loved this month. It could be new purchases or old re-discoveries. There won't always be one in every category, as this is not for what I've been using, but products that have really stood out and that has gotten me excited about make up and skincare. Sometimes I might include things from other categories if I feel it is worth a mention, but not always.
