Review: La Roche-Posay Rosaliac UV Legere Anti-Redness Moisturiser SPF 15

I bought this back in the fall thinking it would be a great, and much cheaper, alternative to favourite Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Soothing Face Lotion. To be completely honest though, I never thought it'd ever be able to replace it.

Much like Weil's Mega-Mushroom line, the Rosaliac UV Legere has a green tint. It is also extremely creamy and soft in texture, yet spreads easily and feels light on the skin. It's not targeted at any special skintype (Dry, Oily etc.), just redness-prone sensitive. I feel this is quite right, unless your on the far side of any spectrum. I feel it's perfect in terms of moisture for normal, normal/dry, normal/combination and norma/oily (slightly oily) skin. I have normal/combination skin that has been quite dehydrated during the winter months and this has been enough for my drier areas. I have been using a serum specifically for dehydrated skin in addition though, plus a heavier night cream.

When worn instant results show skin that is instantly calmed down, less or not at all red and it feels really comfortable on my sensitive skin. With extended use it feels like it's helped my skin be less sensitive overall, much less red and much less reactive.

I am extremely thrilled with this moisturiser and definitely see myself re-purchasing this once it runs out. I don't know if I will bee needing a bit more oil control during the summer months when my t-zone tends to be a bit more of a problem, but if not I can see myself just sticking to this one for a while.
