Review: Nivea Pure & Natural Body Lotion for Normal to Dry Skin

When my Garnier 7 Days for Normal Skin was all empty I thought it would be fun to try something different to replace it. I got this body lotion by Nivea for normal to dry skin.

I've been using the Pure & Natural mostly on my upper body as my legs do tend to get a bit dry and so I use a heavier body cream, or butter if I have the time, on my lower body. I don't want to use heavy creams on my upper body as I feel I don't need it and hate the feeling when it's not absorbing properly, it feels like sweat.

Still, my upper body has been very well moisturised. I can sometimes get dry elbows and areas on my back, but I've had none of that whilst using this. Also, it absorbs very quickly which is perfect for busy mornings. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with really dry skin, but for anyone with normal to dry skin (as per it's description) it's absolutely perfect!

The smell of this stuff is seriously amazing. I'm not sure of what excactly, but I want to say raspberries? It's fresh and fruity at least, that's for sure. Without being overpowering over overly sweet.

Nivea's Pure & Natural Body Lotion is 95% of natural origin and formulated with organic argan oil, but without any parabens. It also has no silicones or mineral oils.

All in all a very nice body lotion for a small price that I don't have to re-purchase, but I probably will as I have no complaints and am quite happy with it. Recommended to check out!

  1. I like anything that smells nice. My elbows are especially dry during the winter. Nivea products are usually heavy duty. Might give this a try. Have you ever used vaseline with lotion? They work well together.

  2. You can't go wrong with a trusted brand like Nivea - cheap and cheerful! :)I must say I really don't moisturise my body as much as I should, definitely a habit that I need to get into! :)

    1. Well, moisturise as you feel is needed :) I've done it everytime after I've had a shower since I was about 12 so I can't seem to skip it, even if I'd rather save the time! And your absolutely right, Nivea really is a good brand, simple - but does what it says! Plus cheap! Can't go wrong with that :) x x
