Review: Lancome Tonique Douceur

Another day another toner review! Lancome's Tonique Douceur is one of those products alot of people has used at one time or another. It's been a staple in Lancome's skincare lineup for many years, and rightly so.

Review: Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Soothing Treatment Lotion

I've finally gotten 'round to writing a review on the Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Soothing Treatment Lotion. And you thought the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm had a long name?!

Review: Kerastase Ciment Thermique Leave-In Conditioner

I used to use this a lot when I was in my teens - and I absolutely loved it. As I grew older I wanted to experiment with different products so I drifted away from this gem and tried other things. Back in the fall I grew tired of experimenting and I was also curious to see how my old favourites would measure up now that I had other things to compare it too. Was it as great as I thought it was back then?

Review: Clarins Daily Energizer Lotion SPF 15

After the Clarins Daily Energizer Cream-Gel really impressed me I wanted to try their similar Daily Energizer Lotion with SPF 15 for summer. Even though SPF 15 isn't enough to ditch a separate SPF, everything helps in my mind and it's enough if your just popping over to buy some groceries. I also wanted to make sure I wrote a review on this one as I never got around to it in the midst of exam stress for the Daily Energizer Cream-Gel and I have to say I really liked that one, so this one had to be good as well, right?

Review: Kate Somerville Serum Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50+

It was love at first use when I tried this for the first time in New York this summer. The weather was really hot and the wind was even warmer and I felt like I had too many layers on my skin. I was sick of applying so many things in the morning, but knew skipping sunscreen wasn't an option. So, I decided to go for a primer and sunscreen in one product. I considered the Chantecaille version, but ended up deciding on the Kate Somerville, partly because I can get Chantecaille in Europe at a later date, but not Kate Somerville.

Empties: June 2013

A bit late with this one, but better late than never! Even though we're almost halfway through July I've seperated my empties from June from the ones I've finished in July. I finally have a bit less as I was away on holiday for over half of June and didn't take my empties back home with me. Still there's a few products, and one I'm very sad about that unfortunately smashed. Next month's empties is looking like it will have quite a few "throwaways" as I'm getting sick of having so much stuff around that I don't even like. But more on that next month!

Favourites: June 2013

I finally finished exams and went straight to New York for a little over two weeks in the middle of july. I had so many things I had wanted for quite a while that isn't available back in Norway so bought a lot of things, but well researched things, so I've been thrilled with almost all of it! Naturally then I have quite a few favourites this month, I even had to cut out a few things to not make the post too long.

My Morning Skincare Routine: July 2013

Seeing as I'm quite obsessed with skincare and have been for a while, I figured a post about my skincare routines would be fitting. I've split them into two parts; morning and evening.

First a little bit about my skin; It's fairly normal, but is somewhat dehydrated and can lean oily at times, mostly during the summer months, but only in the t-zone. I'm your bog standard combination skin. My skin has been quite the independent soul, doing whatever it pleased in the past, but I've got it under control now and have had it that way for almost the last two years. Please take my skincare advice with a pinch of salt as I'm not a dermatologist or in any way a skincare specialist. I am only sharing what I do in the hopes that it might give someone an idea of what to try if they are looking to improve their skin.
