Review: BECCA Ombre Nudes Eye Palette

The Becca Ombre Nudes Eye Palette was released sometime last fall and I really wanted to get it. I don't have Becca available to me here in Norway, so when I was in Ireland I planned on picking it up. However, when I was there I was hit by a bit of a common-sense wave where I realised I really didn't need any more eyeshadows. This was the same state of mind that caused me to skip on Tom Ford's Nude Dip. Both decisions, while obviously very reasonable, both I ended up regretting terribly. Thankfully Nude Dip is now part of the permanent collection, and when Becca was re-released at cultbeauty with free shipping I ordered the Ombre nudes Eye Palette immediately.

Review: Supergoop Skin Soothing Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF40

Supergoop is a brand I find really exciting. It's completely focused on providing great sun protection in all kinds of different skincare products. As someone that uses SPF every single day it makes me happy to find a company so focused on making sun care skincare that both perform well in terms of protecting my skin from the sun, but also is and feels good for my skin.

Review: Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Anti-Wrinkle Defense Serum

Caudalie's Polyphenol C 15 range was released sometime last year if I remember correctly. It was quite a grand release and everyone was very excited, including myself. Caudalie has become one of my trusted go-to brands. I always have several products from the brand in both my skincare and body care routine. Caudalie makes some of my absolute favourite products and so naturally when they release a whole new range of products that I can use, it's a good day indeed.

Review: Odacité Baobab-Sarsaparilla Eye Contour Serum Concentrate

Odacité is a really interesting and different brand. I've wanted to try something from the brand for a while, but as I've got way too many serums and oils going at the moment, and have been for a while I couldn't justify adding another serum/oil to the rotation. When I ran out of my eye serum however, I figured it was a perfect excuse to try Odacité's version.

Products I Want To Use Up: Update #6

As it's been almost three months since my last update I figured now would be a good time for another update on my use-it-up project! I've finished two products and have decided to get rid of three, so I'll be adding five new products to the project this time, which is always exciting!

Review: Urban Decay De-Slick

As Summer is pretty much here, I thought now would be the perfect time to talk about one of my top summer must-have products; Urban Decay's De-Slick! When Urban Decay first released their 'All Nighter' spray I thought it was really cool, but I wasn't overly impressed. I think I only bought the one bottle and left it at that. Then I remember youtube exploding with good reviews on 'De-Slick' and once again I caved to the hype. I am so happy I did.

Review: Aesop Parsley Seed Cleansing Oil

Since trying Aesop's products I've truly fallen in love with the brand. There's quite a few great offerings from the brand, both skincare and body care. A lot of my favourite products do come from Aesops famous 'Parsley Seed' range. The toner and mask are two of my absolute staples, and no different is the Parsley Seed Facial Cleansing Oil.

Empties: May 2015

About a week ago it seemed like I'd have the smallest empties post to date. I made sure to focus on a few things that were almost finished, so I've still got a few products to show you! There's a few products with the tiniest amount left that I really thought I'd have finished by this post, but I didn't, so those will show up in my June post instead I guess! There's still a few things in here that I've been working on for a while, and some jumbo sized products which is always fun as it clears up a lot of space.

Favourites: May 2015

First of all I have to say my most favourite thing from the past month is finishing my Bachelors degree! I'm equally excited and scared to be finished, but finishing the work I'm all happy about. I kept up with the blog pretty well I think, except for at the end of the month when I just couldn't find the time. Now though I'll have all the time in the world to blog which I'm super excited about! For my May Favourites I used makeup pretty much everyday this month so I've got a few items here that quickly became staples the past month.
