Empties: January 2018

I'm starting 2018 with a massive declutter, primarily in my makeup collection. I feel like I'm entering a second wave of being able to let go of stuff. A lot of the makeup I am getting rid of now, I thought I was never going to be able to get rid of, short of using it up. I think the fact that I've actually stopped buying makeup for almost three years now, is why I am finally able to let go of these things. I realise I haven't reached for them for a while, they've had "their chance", and since I am not buying and buying and buying, I feel less guilty of getting rid of the stuff I don't use, since that really does mean I get to use the things I love, that I already own.

Empties: April 2017

Apologies are in order for basically not blogging anymore, besides favourites and empties posts. This time I'm even skipping the favourites one. As I've mentioned before, I started a new job in April. I have a lot of responsibillities, everything is new and I barely have time to go home and sleep. For now, work is of course a priority and the blog is on a semi-pause. I'm sure you understand. I do want to stay on top of my empties posts though, as I love to keep the tally throughout the year. So, while quite late, better late than never; here are my empties for the month of April.

2015 Favourites: The Makeup

Instead of December favourites I thought I'd follow tradition and do my yearly favourites instead. Like before I've separated the posts into different categories, starting here with my makeup favourites. I've also decided to just list the products with links to reviews of the products I have reviewed. It would just take too long to write about all of the products, plus it would all probably be a lot of amazing, fantastic and incredible's over and over again. I'll put it this way; if it's in this post, or any of the others, I absolutely love the product. If there's something I've talked about loving before that isn't in here, it doesn't mean I don't still love it. There'll be a lot of favourite products of mine that won't be featured here, I just had to narrow it down somehow, and these are the products I ended up with.

2014 Favourites: The Makeup

Now for my second installment of my 2014 Favourites; The Makeup! I decided not to pick due to category this year, but simply pull out the things I've loved and used a lot this year. Some categories have several products, some have none. These are products I both discovered this year, but also old loves that continued to hold their place as firm favourites for another year. I'm simply listing the products by name, but as always - please do leave any questions you may have in the comments section.

Favourites: September 2014

The past month has been weird in the makeup department. It was fall, but not quite fall yet, so it was a bit confusing what colours felt right. I've been kind of back and forth between fall and summer colours depending on if the sun was shining or not. Through switching colours there were still a few staples I stuck to for the most part, and those are the items I will be talking about today. You may have noticed, I don't have any skincare this month. This is simply because I've written about all of the items I loved this month quite recently. The star skincare item I would have to say was La Mer. I went back to using it every night and my skin has been wonderful for it. Now for the makeup and a very special perfume.
