Empties: March 2014 Part 1

So this happened last month. I meant to post an empties post midway through the month, but didn't get around to it so here I am. Two bags full of empty products! Overall a good thing, but that's a lot of product to write about so I've decided to make this a two-parter. Especially as I've I've also filled up a small box of makeup in addition to this that I am giving away to family and friends. I made a lot of space in my storage units the past month - which is right on trend as it is the time for spring cleaning!

Empties: January 2014

After doing a bit of shopping during December on my trip to London and France/Italy plus receiving a few products as part of gifts for Christmas I knew it was time to do a bit of de-cluttering. I deemed January "sample month" and have been working on finally cleaning out the incredibly huge back-stock of products just "lying around". I also wanted to focus on finishing stuff that had been "almost empty" for a while. I've also taken a lot of stuff and given away to friends and family. It's definitely been a success and I can already see a noticeable improvement. I might even continue on into February.

Review: Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil

After being blown away by the results of Fushi's Organic Rosehip Oil using it on my body I wanted to explore the wonders of rosehip oil further, this time looking for an oil appropriate for use on the face. I ended up choosing the 45ml version of Trilogy's simple Rosehip Oil only option as it was fairly cheap and so if I didn't end up liking it it wouldn't be as big of a deal. However, that wasn't what happened.

Favourites: 2013

Here we are at the end and beginning of another year yet again. I have once again decided to do a yearly favourites post listing my most used and loved products of the past year. The post has been set up very similar to last years in that I have skipped any description or explanation of the products, the post would simply be way too long, and has stuck to just listing the category with the brand and product name. I have decided against forcing a product in every category and instead chose my stand-out products of the year and then added them to the category they fit into, this is the reason some categories have more than one. I hope you all had a wonderful 2013 and wish you all a fabolous 2014!

Favourites: August 2013


Finally we're heading into fall - my favourite time of year! The weather has still been all about summer here in Norway, but I've been slowly transitioning my clothes, nail polish and makeup into more fall appropriate colours and formulas. Still no dark lipstick and cozy sweaters but hopefully soon! I can't wait for it to get a bit colder so I can wear layers and cute fall jackets. I'm also looking forward to cloudy crisp fall days so that I can properly concentrate on studying for uni - am I the only one finding it hard to focus with the sun beaming in through the windows?
