Another month with plenty of empties. I keep thinking next month there won't be as much, but every time I keep having loads. I guess I just use a lot of products for a lot of different things and that's why. Still I'm noticing my "collection" of products, especially body care is getting smaller and that gets me very excited. It's all a lot less overwhelming now and I feel I can appreciate more the things I have without feeling like I need to finish stuff up fast before everything gets too old.

Favourites: November 2013
My favourites for the month of November are all a rather luxe roundup, but an absolute 5 star one. November was a month filled with exams and papers being due and it was nice to not only have amazing products to rely on, but to indulge a bit extra due to the circumstances. I whole-heartedly recommend all of these products to everyone - they are some of my all-time faves!

Empties: October 2013
No this isn't an error, it's just a very late October empties. I decided to delay my empties post for October until after my exams as my empties posts are incredibly time-consuming and I just didn't have a whole 6-7 hours (yes, really) to dedicate to a post when I needed to focus on exams. Here it finally is though, as promised! With my November Favourites and Empties to follow shortly! I have finished my exams for the semester, and quite early, so I'm feeling incredibly lucky getting to really enjoy christmas this year. I hope you are all enjoying December as well!

Review: Chanel Ombres Matalassées de Chanel in 'Charming'

I've always absolutely loved the Chanel 'Ombres Perlées de Chanel' palette that came out with their pearl centred collection a few years ago, Black Pearl Vernis is another favourite from that one. Unfortunately as the palette is so shiny it's not one I get as much use out of as I want and not one I can really use on it's own. I've looked with a keen eye on the Ombres Matalassees Chanel has released since, but none of them have been something I really wanted. Enter 'Charming'. The second I read the release regarding this fantastic mostly matte natural shades palette I knew I had to have it. Decision made, deal done.

Review: Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush in '84 Accent'

As part of their Holiday 2013 Collection 'Nuit Infinie de Chanel' Chanel released a limited edition Joues Contraste called 'Accent'. I wasn't intending on getting it, nor was I even interested at looking at it really. Even with swatches and great reviews online my interest didn't really peak. That was until I saw it in real life. It was so gorgeous I knew instantly I had to have it after all.

NOTD: Chanel 667 Rouge Rubis

Where do I even begin with this one? On first glance this might seem like "just another red" and in all fairness and logic; it is. However, this is the perfect red. Coming from a red nail polish lover like me, that is not an easily made statement.

Haul: My picks from the Chanel Holiday 2013 Collection 'Nuit Infinie de Chanel'

Chanel's holiday collection; Nuit Infinie de Chanel is stunning as always. I ended up getting three pieces plus a new powder from their permanent lineup. This post will be a general overview and first impressions on the products. I will be posting more in-depth reviews of them all individually later

Favourites: October 2013

Apologies are in order for the lack of posts lately as well as October Favourites being incredibly late. I have been ill for almost 4 weeks now and just haven't been able to find the energy. I've decided to push back October Empties until the end of this month as I want to get up posts about the Chanel Holiday collection, the items I purchased at least, so that those of you wanting my opinion on those products can get it while the collection is still available. My exams are coming up which I'm of course nervous but also kind of excited about. Excited because I'm really looking forward to them being over and really enjoying christmas! I'm going to London in the middle of December after exams are done and I am so excited! Sending good luck wishes to everyone else currently rushing to meet deadlines and remembering thousands of pages.

Review: Aesop Purifying Cream Cleanser

I've never really been too interested in Aesop products. Not un-interested, but they never really sparked that "need to try!". No idea why. I'm just as puzzled therefore as to where the sudden urge to try everything Aesop came from, but it did the past month or two and so I've hauled quite a few bits from the brand. One of the first products I picked up was the Purifying Cream Cleanser.

Review: Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel

The second peeling mask I ever tried was blogger favourite Elemis' Papaya Enzyme Peel. I had only used the Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant before this, another cult favourite, and was excited to compare the two.
