Favourites: February 2015
It's crazy how much shorter February feels every year even though it's just missing a few days. February was a fun month for me. I had a lot to do at school with presentations and exams, but I also took a trip to Copenhagen with my boyfriend which was a lot of fun. We just enjoyed the city with good food, good wine and a bit of shopping. If you haven't been to Copenhagen I really recommend going, it's a really nice city. But now for some beauty recommendations!

Favourites: August 2014

August has been a long month. We've gone from full-on summer to colder fresh fall winds by the end. I went to Rome for a week, started school and then finally rounded it all up by getting the flu. I've officially been knocked out for a week and I feel horribly stressed by everything I've got to do to catch up, but I'm sure I'll be alright soon enough. If you were wondering why there was a lack of updates on the blog, now you also know why. Through the changing weather and daily routines I've switched out a lot of products, but a few items have been used solidly from beginning til end and those are the ones I will be sharing with you today.

Favourites: June 2014
Sorry for being a little late with my June Favourites, but I've been travelling a bit the last few weeks and simply didn't have time to sit down and make a post until now. I've been on two shorter trips to Copenhagen and Berlin, plus one of our cabins here in Norway. I've bought quite a few beauty bits lately and will have some really exciting products to review for you! But that's in the future, now for the past and what I've been loving for the month of June!

Favourites: April 2014
Spring is in full effect here in Norway and I've been loving the sunny days, warm weather and getting back into wearing bright fun colors on my nails and lips. May will be full of exams for me, so if the blog doesn't get updated much that will be why. For now, let's get into some of my favourites for the past month.

Favourites: March 2014
Spring is finally here and I've been focusing on fresher scents, lighter colours and tempting a tad more of a bronzed and glowy face. I have quite a few goodies in this favourites post. Most of them are brand new, some just new to me - but they are all absolutely fantastic!

NOTD: Dior 204 Porcelaine
I don't buy many Dior polishes. This is only because I'm so smitten with Chanel's offerings that I usually try to limit myself to just that brand. Partly because it helps curb my spendings, but also because having all Chanel nail polish bottles looks very aesthetically pleasing. A few times I've regretted not picking up a Dior polish though. I'm not sure why, but when I saw this gorgeous pastel shade of Blue was coming out as part of Dior's spring collection I just knew this would be another one I'd end up regretting not having, so for once I took the plunge.

NOTD: Chanel 605 Tapage
I originally decided to skip Tapage. "Do I really need another pink/red polish?" - the answer to that would definitely be no. I still decided to try it on in the store, and after wearing it all day by the time I got home I knew I would have to go back. Tapage doesn't seem like it's all that special, until you try it on.

Haul: My picks from the Spring 2014 Collections
I feel like I've made a fairly modest selection of the spring collections this year, picking just a few items. I was very proud of myself for skipping on the Chanel nail polishes this year, but I did test Tapage at the store and upon arriving home having looked at it all day.. I think I'll definitely end up going back for it after all. For anyone curious about the polish I have a picture of how it looks on my nails in the post as well.

NOTD: Chanel 667 Rouge Rubis

Where do I even begin with this one? On first glance this might seem like "just another red" and in all fairness and logic; it is. However, this is the perfect red. Coming from a red nail polish lover like me, that is not an easily made statement.

Haul: My picks from the Chanel Holiday 2013 Collection 'Nuit Infinie de Chanel'

Chanel's holiday collection; Nuit Infinie de Chanel is stunning as always. I ended up getting three pieces plus a new powder from their permanent lineup. This post will be a general overview and first impressions on the products. I will be posting more in-depth reviews of them all individually later

Favourites: October 2013

Apologies are in order for the lack of posts lately as well as October Favourites being incredibly late. I have been ill for almost 4 weeks now and just haven't been able to find the energy. I've decided to push back October Empties until the end of this month as I want to get up posts about the Chanel Holiday collection, the items I purchased at least, so that those of you wanting my opinion on those products can get it while the collection is still available. My exams are coming up which I'm of course nervous but also kind of excited about. Excited because I'm really looking forward to them being over and really enjoying christmas! I'm going to London in the middle of December after exams are done and I am so excited! Sending good luck wishes to everyone else currently rushing to meet deadlines and remembering thousands of pages.

NOTD: Nails Inc Baker Street

After much back and forth I did end up ordering the Nails Inc mini nail polish set from Feelunique last december. It came with 15 mini polishes in all different colours, finishes plus some glitters! Here I am reviewing Baker Street - their famous bright blue!

NOTD: Chanel 595 Rouge Moiré
Like I've said in the past; who am I to resist a Chanel red?! It almost can't be done, especially when limited edition. It took me about one second from seeing Rouge Moire for the first time until I grabbed one and headed for the cashier.
8.27.2013
NOTD: Chanel 593 Rose Moiré
Rose Moiré is one of two polishes from Chanel's Moiré Le Rouge collection that were released recently as part of their Fall lineup for 2013.

NOTD: OPI 'You're Such A Budapest'
I wasn't going to buy any more polishes for a while, with the exception of Chanel. I really tried to not even look at OPI's Euro Centrale collection, but the blue leaning lilac "You're such a Budapest" had my heart from the start. Looking through my collection I realised it was actually lacking light, pastel summer colours, so with that in mind I justified it, and I'm really happy I did! I really didn't have anything like this!
5.16.2013
NOTD: Chanel 667 Bel-Argus
I've wanted a shiny blue polish for quite a while now. Essie's 'Aruba Blue' really caught my eye a few months back but I restricted myself. When I saw Chanel was releasing the similar Bel-Argus I took it as a sign and knew I just had to have it.

Favourites: March 2013
Oddly I feel this past month went by slowly instead of too fast, which is usually the case. I think it might be because exams are slowly getting closer and closer and I, personally, would just like them to get here so I can be done with them already. March is one of those in-between months and so my makeup and skincare needs have been a bit back and forth and will probably be a bit for April as well. Here are the favourite products I used in March.

NOTD: Dior Nail Glow
With the success of their Lip Glow balm type product that works with your natural lip color and enhances it, Dior decided to release a few other 'Glow' products with their spring line. They've all debuted as limited edition items, but one can make a small, but careful assumption that they are limited edition only to test the waters. I would guess on them making a comeback depending on how quickly, and if, they sold out. I've so far not used any of the glow products for the lips, but the 'Nail Glow' really tickled my fancy so I picked one up.
2.22.2013
NOTD: Dior 155 Tutu
Dior's 'Tutu' from their 2013 Spring makeup collection is a gorgeous light ballerina pink. It's white based, neutral toned and absolutely gorgeous. It surprisingly goes with absolutely everything and while it's certainly girly, it's still just right to have a bit of an edge to it as well. I wear it as I would a white polish.
2.18.2013
NOTD: Chanel 571 Fracas
When I first saw Chanel's Spring 2013 release 'Fracas' in the bottle I was a bit disappointed. It seemed a bit of an "old auntie pink". On the nails though, it's a beautiful fresh watermelon color that makes me really excited for summer!
