Project 7 Pan: Update #2

This post is a bit late, as I wanted to post it before the new month. Unfortunately I've been basically living at the office for the past week, so I found no time to write it before now. As I've finished quite a few products, I wanted to get this up before my empties post as otherwise that would be a bit spoilerish. I took these pictures last weekend, and in the week since I actually finished another product, which means I've finished 4 of the products still in this project.

Project 7 Pan: Update #1

So, the first update to this project comes a bit sooner than I was expecting to make one! I did say I would update you approximatively every two weeks, and I guess I am sticking to that, but I thought for sure my next update would be at least a few days into November. Either way, I'm updating early for a good reason; I've already used up two items! Yay!

Project 7 Pan Intro

After a lot of back and forth I've decided to do another project pan. I haven't done one in a while as I got a little burnt out doing them, and also I didn't feel I really had many products I felt like panning. To be honest, the reason why I'm mostly doing this now is I realised there's quite a few things I'd love to focus on using up, and while doing that, why not do some posts and share it on the blog?

Favourites: July 2016

July was almost entirely a holiday month for me and while I'm sad it's over, part of me is actually quite happy to get back into my routines and feel a bit productive again. I went to Barcelona for my main holiday this year, and I absolutely loved it. I am definitely going back and if you haven't been yet, I absolutely recommend it, it's an amazing city! For my favourites for the past month there's some new products, some I've talked about in the past, and some I've just written reviews on. Keeping with the summer theme - these are all either bronzy warm shades of makeup, something with SPF, or of course just a light wonderful summery perfume.

Favourites: May 2016

Summer finally hit Norway by the second half of May and has come full-blown since. The sun is out everyday and it's warm and nice and green. I don't have much skincare this month as I've been sticking to using the same stuff as I've been for a while, but there's quite a bit of makeup this time.

Review: Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette

I've been really interested in getting one of all the bronzer, blush and highlighting palettes that's been released lately as it would be super convenient for travel. Imagine then how excited I was when I saw that this was getting released with not only those three products, but also eyeshadows included!

Favourites: June 2015

We had quite a crappy summer there for a while, but finally the skies cleared, it stopped raining and I'm wearing shorts and my trusted havaianas. I finally started self-tanning and so has taken the opportunity to pull out my darker and more tan-friendly makeup colours to get some use out of them this year as well. I'm always focused on sun protection, but at this time I'm especially on top of my game and have some GREAT products to tell you about!

Favourites: April 2015

My favourites from April consists of some long-time favourites, as you can tell by major pan, but also some new loves. All of the products are really, really good and I'm so excited to share them with you guys! Surprisingly I've only reviewed one of these items already on the blog, so it's good I'm making a point to mention the others as these are all products you really need to check out!

Favourites: December 2014

Better late than never, here comes my last favourites post of 2014! Monthly favourites that is, I've still got one favourites of the year post coming up, and then I think I'm finished with all the round-ups from 2014. December was, as a few of you will know, filled with exams all the way until the 19th (!!) when I finally got to go home and enjoy christmas food, my parents christmas house, spending time with my family and as an extra bonus; it snowed, tonnes! December was mostly me wearing no makeup and studying, but the few products I did use were absolute gems.

Favourites: October 2014

Fall is finally here! And with it a whole lot of cold weather and the snow keeps attempting it's grand entrance. It's still not gathering once it hits the ground, but if we're gonna have the cold weather might as well have the snow, so hopefully soon! I've been burning scented candles, going through even more hand cream than usual and hitting the books. Exams are just around the corner, but I'm not that stressed about it and am just really looking forward to christmas, as usual. I think it just might be my favourite time of the year!

I've been doing a project I've decided to call the "Christmas Challenge" where I've rounded up all of my red lipsticks and nail polishes and am attempting to use them all by the end of the year. The lip products are going quite well, but the nail polishes will be a bit (a lot) more of a challenge. Let me know if you'd like to see any posts on this - if not, I have to say it's quite fun and absolutely recommend it if anyone would like to have a go as well! Now for my favourites for October!

Finish 5 By Fall Finale!

This whole thing has been a bit of a fail for me. First of all I didn't choose products all that wisely - as in I didn't really finish anything. Then I managed to accidentally delete the pictures I had taken for my monthly update. By the time I realised it was already about a week into september and I thought I might as well wait until the end. Then I did make a lot of progress in the time after and realised I should've still taken the pictures, but at that point it was really too late. Oh well, I'll take you through the progress I've made and there's a bit of reflection at the end.

Favourites: July 2014

July has been an amazing month! The weather in Norway has been absolutely perfect - warm and not a cloud in the sky! I've had holidays for most of the month and have spent the time with family and my boyfriend. I've travelled a bit, but also stayed home and enjoyed doing nothing. The month has been fun in terms of makeup, somewhat surprisingly. I picked up a few new items in Berlin, and since getting back, that have all met expectations, or beyond.

Review: Tom Ford Bronzing Powder in Terra

No matter how much I try to embrace my pale, I just can't help but long for tanned, bronzed glowing skin! Especially now during the summer months! I've still kept at it with my daily SPF 50, but have had a bit of a love affair with self-tanners the past few weeks. As much as I love the look of self-tanning, it's undoubtedly a lot of hassle, and it never lasts long enough, at least not on my face! So for those other days, when my pale face makes it's return, I have been depending on this hero product, the Tom Ford Bronzing Powder in Terra, to give me a healthy glow - and wow has it delivered. I said it in my June favourites, and I'll say it here again; I think I can safely say now that this is my all-time favourite bronzer!

Favourites: June 2014

Sorry for being a little late with my June Favourites, but I've been travelling a bit the last few weeks and simply didn't have time to sit down and make a post until now. I've been on two shorter trips to Copenhagen and Berlin, plus one of our cabins here in Norway. I've bought quite a few beauty bits lately and will have some really exciting products to review for you! But that's in the future, now for the past and what I've been loving for the month of June!

Favourites: August 2013

Finally we're heading into fall - my favourite time of year! The weather has still been all about summer here in Norway, but I've been slowly transitioning my clothes, nail polish and makeup into more fall appropriate colours and formulas. Still no dark lipstick and cozy sweaters but hopefully soon! I can't wait for it to get a bit colder so I can wear layers and cute fall jackets. I'm also looking forward to cloudy crisp fall days so that I can properly concentrate on studying for uni - am I the only one finding it hard to focus with the sun beaming in through the windows?

Summer Holiday Hauls: The Airport On The Way Back

My third and last haul from my last summer holiday in France. These products I purchased at the airport on the way back. This will be my last haul for a while, if my 100 days of no spending go as planned. I have ran out of some stuff whilst doing it though, so there might actually be a little mini/mega-haul coming up in combination with my first update - all to be explained! But first onto this little haul that looks quite gorgeous spread out I have to say.. Beautiful packaging is arguably worth the extra money sometimes..

Favourites: May 2012

These are products that I have used and loved this month. It could be new purchases or old re-discoveries. There won't always be one in every category, as this is not for what I've been using, but products that have really stood out and that has gotten me excited about make up and skincare. Sometimes I might include things from other categories if I feel it is worth a mention, but not always.

Review: Giorgio Armani Sheer Bronzer in 1 Brown Sand

Well, it's been quite the rollercoaster with this product, but I have to say that as we near the end of our time together, when we had our differences, I was completely in the wrong.
