Project 7 Pan: Finale

So it seems I took a bit of an hiatus. I promised you my yearly favourites round-up, but unfortunately I'm not going to do it this year. Work has been super hectic, I've barely been home to sleep and then run back. Beyond that I'm just not excited to write a yearly favourites post. I'm not sure why. I guess 2016 was mostly for me about trying to finally use up a lot of ok products that were still hanging around. I did certainly find a lot of new things as well, but I'm just not excited to write such a big post, so I'll skip it this year. That goes for a December favourites as well. What I will be posting though, is my finale of my Project 7 Pan and after this post, my December empties.

Project 7 Pan: Update #2

This post is a bit late, as I wanted to post it before the new month. Unfortunately I've been basically living at the office for the past week, so I found no time to write it before now. As I've finished quite a few products, I wanted to get this up before my empties post as otherwise that would be a bit spoilerish. I took these pictures last weekend, and in the week since I actually finished another product, which means I've finished 4 of the products still in this project.

Project 7 Pan: Update #1

So, the first update to this project comes a bit sooner than I was expecting to make one! I did say I would update you approximatively every two weeks, and I guess I am sticking to that, but I thought for sure my next update would be at least a few days into November. Either way, I'm updating early for a good reason; I've already used up two items! Yay!

Project 7 Pan Intro

After a lot of back and forth I've decided to do another project pan. I haven't done one in a while as I got a little burnt out doing them, and also I didn't feel I really had many products I felt like panning. To be honest, the reason why I'm mostly doing this now is I realised there's quite a few things I'd love to focus on using up, and while doing that, why not do some posts and share it on the blog?

Project Use-it-up Finale

So finally it's time for the finale of this project! I posted my first post in this series back in January 2014, you can see my first post here , which means it's actually been two years I've been doing this project for. I've obviously added a lot of new products in as I finished others and that way have finished quite a bit, but I am happy I am finishing it now as I want to do other projects this year instead. For now though, let's see how far I got with the final products in this project.

Use it Up: Update #8

I did kind of just update this project, but I've made a decent amount of progress and finished some products so I figured it'd be fun to do an update. Also, most of the people that project pan on youtube do at least a monthly update, so I guess once a month one the blog isn't too crazy either. Especially these days as I've been super into using stuff up, and basically using nothing but these products and my palette in my pan that palette challenge. Anyway, let's get this post going!

Use it Up: Update #7

This is going to be one of the better updates of this. Not that I've ever done too shabby, to be honest, but this time around I've finished a whopping 6 products. This means I'll also be adding 6 new products at the end, which is a lot. I considered not adding them and just finishing the remaining products by the end of the year, and then being done with the project, but I don't want to do that. I'd rather keep cycling through ten and another ten and another ten products, no matter what year it is or was. Either way, let's get into showing the progress I've made on the products I am still working on, what I've finished and what's going in the bin.

Pan That Palette: Update #2

First of all, yes this is really only the second update. I was so surprised when I realised I've only updated once before this year, but at least I'm getting around to it now. So without further ado, let's see how I've done since last time.

Products I Want To Use Up: Update #6

As it's been almost three months since my last update I figured now would be a good time for another update on my use-it-up project! I've finished two products and have decided to get rid of three, so I'll be adding five new products to the project this time, which is always exciting!

Pan That Palette: Update #1

I'm about 3 months into this project, so I figured I'd do an update on how it's going. I haven't finished it, of course, but I dare say I've made some decent progress. I don't really notice as I see it almost everyday, but when I went to write this post and looked at the pictures of the palette in my first post, I realised I've made quite a bit of progress after all.

My last update was in January so I figured as we're heading towards the end of March, now would be a good time to do a little update on my use-it-up project! I've finished one item since last time, and one I'm throwing away, which means I'll be adding two new products to the project as well.

Products I Want To Use Up: Update #4

I figured it was time to do an update on my progress as we've moved into a new year! Especially as I've managed to finish three more products and making good progress with others. If you missed it, I've decided to have this more as an always-ongoing project rather than a finish-by-the-end-of-the-year specific. This means that I'll keep on adding more items as I finish them, always having 10 "on the go".

It's been about three months since my last update, so I thought it was about the right time to do another one. Especially as I've finished quite a few products! Finish 5 By Fall Finale!

This whole thing has been a bit of a fail for me. First of all I didn't choose products all that wisely - as in I didn't really finish anything. Then I managed to accidentally delete the pictures I had taken for my monthly update. By the time I realised it was already about a week into september and I thought I might as well wait until the end. Then I did make a lot of progress in the time after and realised I should've still taken the pictures, but at that point it was really too late. Oh well, I'll take you through the progress I've made and there's a bit of reflection at the end.

Products I Want To Use Up: Update #2

This post is so so overdue. I meant to update you on my progress ages ago, but each time I was so close to finishing another product I wanted to wait, and then that happened again and again. Finally I decided it was time for an update, mostly as I've finished almost everything, but then none of my pictures would turn out the way I liked - I've realised since I think my camera had a bit of a heatstroke with the heat we've been having here. I've also realised it's hard to make a whole lot of empty and well-used products look very beautiful, so we will all have to just look past that, and focus on the true objective of these posts; to finish up products!

A really great new tag has been making the rounds on youtube recently. It's called the 'Finish 5 by Fall' tag and it's basically just about choosing 5 products to finish by September 22. The lovely Megan, who has one of my favourite youtube channels, (see her video here) tagged me and I'm really excited to do this! I'v been contemplating doing some kind of project pan or spending ban lately, but not felt quite up for any of them. This however felt like the perfect kind of challenge!

It's time for an update on how I'm doing with my 14 products I want to finish this year! I've actually gotten through 4 products already so I figured that was a nice mark for another post. I'm doing this throughout the whole year so as I've finished four products, I'll be adding four new ones in!

Back in 2012 I did the 100 days spending ban. It was really successfull and I actually really enjoyed it. Since I've steered away from another ban, feeling as one isn't needed as I've gotten my spendings very much under control. I'm still fine. However, makeup takes forever to finish so all those things I accumulated in the past is a tad overwhelming and in so I want to try and finish a few things off.
