Review: Omorovicza Complexion Perfector BB in Light

Omorovicza is a brand I've really come to love over the past few years. The love affair started in New York when a really lovely sales assistant convinced me of trying the Queen of Hungary Mist and the Thermal Cleansing Balm, along with a few nice samples. I absolutely loved both products, and they are both products I've re-purchased since. After reading all the raves about their Complexion Perfector I knew I had to try it, here are my thoughts. 

Products I Want To Use Up: Update #5

My last update was in January so I figured as we're heading towards the end of March, now would be a good time to do a little update on my use-it-up project! I've finished one item since last time, and one I'm throwing away, which means I'll be adding two new products to the project as well.

Products I Want To Use Up: Update #4

I figured it was time to do an update on my progress as we've moved into a new year! Especially as I've managed to finish three more products and making good progress with others. If you missed it, I've decided to have this more as an always-ongoing project rather than a finish-by-the-end-of-the-year specific. This means that I'll keep on adding more items as I finish them, always having 10 "on the go".

Finish 5 By Fall Finale!

This whole thing has been a bit of a fail for me. First of all I didn't choose products all that wisely - as in I didn't really finish anything. Then I managed to accidentally delete the pictures I had taken for my monthly update. By the time I realised it was already about a week into september and I thought I might as well wait until the end. Then I did make a lot of progress in the time after and realised I should've still taken the pictures, but at that point it was really too late. Oh well, I'll take you through the progress I've made and there's a bit of reflection at the end.

Review: Armani Maestro Foundation

After being so impressed with Armani's Lasting Silk UV Foundation ( review ) last summer to the point where it has become my favourite foundation, I've been very curious about exploring the brand further. This has of course included trying more of the brand's foundation offerings. I've now tried almost all of them, but the one I will be reviewing first is the very popular Maestro Foundation. I see this mentioned a lot in Favourites Posts and pictured on Instagram, but it's still quite a peculiar and different foundation with it's dry oil base and dropper, so I figured the Maestro would be a good one to start with.

July has been an amazing month! The weather in Norway has been absolutely perfect - warm and not a cloud in the sky! I've had holidays for most of the month and have spent the time with family and my boyfriend. I've travelled a bit, but also stayed home and enjoyed doing nothing. The month has been fun in terms of makeup, somewhat surprisingly. I picked up a few new items in Berlin, and since getting back, that have all met expectations, or beyond.

I've finally finished my exams for this year and so I'm back to blogging. May was a really fun month for me in terms of makeup and skincare. I've stuck to the same skincare routine pretty consistently and my skin has been amazing as a result. Makeup wise I haven't been doing anything too fancy as I've spent most of my time studying, but we've had really good weather so getting to use some brighter colours again has been a lot of fun.

Spring is in full effect here in Norway and I've been loving the sunny days, warm weather and getting back into wearing bright fun colors on my nails and lips. May will be full of exams for me, so if the blog doesn't get updated much that will be why. For now, let's get into some of my favourites for the past month.

We've had quite the fabulous summer here in Norway with mostly sunny days and warm temperatures throughout July! I've enjoyed wearing little makeup and spending shorter time getting ready as I want to hurry getting ready to get outside to enjoy the beautiful weather! These have been my go-to products this month when I've been wanting stuff I know works well without much effort.

Oddly I feel this past month went by slowly instead of too fast, which is usually the case. I think it might be because exams are slowly getting closer and closer and I, personally, would just like them to get here so I can be done with them already. March is one of those in-between months and so my makeup and skincare needs have been a bit back and forth and will probably be a bit for April as well. My last post in or about 2012! As I finished my 100 Days Spending Band towards the end of the year and also took a short trip to London I bought a lot of new products in December. They were all things I had wanted for a long time, so no surprise, a lot of them are featured in this post!

All used up: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser Oil-Free

Anyone who's been in the beauty community for at least a little while will have at least heard of this product. It has become such a staple it's not too far off being a necessity such as the 8 Hour Cream or the Beauty Flash Balm.

Review: Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser

It finally arrived in stores last Saturday and I ran straight down to my nearest Sephora and picked one up. Even though I've only been wearing it for a few days I wanted to get a quick review up for those of you who are just as impatient as me to know what this one is like!

This very exciting new product from Nars is already available at Nordstrom in the US, perhaps widely available by now, you should have a look, but here in Europe it will only be available in stores in March. It is available on the Nars website though!
