Empties: December 2016

Finally - here it is; my last empties post of 2016! It's really, really late, but I couldn't skip it, so at last let's see what the total numbers are for the past year.

Project Use-it-up Finale

So finally it's time for the finale of this project! I posted my first post in this series back in January 2014, you can see my first post here , which means it's actually been two years I've been doing this project for. I've obviously added a lot of new products in as I finished others and that way have finished quite a bit, but I am happy I am finishing it now as I want to do other projects this year instead. For now though, let's see how far I got with the final products in this project.

Use it Up: Update #8

I did kind of just update this project, but I've made a decent amount of progress and finished some products so I figured it'd be fun to do an update. Also, most of the people that project pan on youtube do at least a monthly update, so I guess once a month one the blog isn't too crazy either. Especially these days as I've been super into using stuff up, and basically using nothing but these products and my palette in my pan that palette challenge. Anyway, let's get this post going!

Empties: October 2015

In October I unfortunately only managed to finish one makeup item, but I did finish quite a bit of full-size skincare. I focused my attention on using up more perfume samples as I really want to start clearing those out as I've got quite a back-up. There's a whole drawer dedicated to different sized perfume samples that I'd like to use for storing something else. Otherwise I'm hoping I'll finish more makeup next month, and think I just might as there's a few things nearing it's end. But for now, onto my empties for October.

Review: Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 54 Boy

Chanel's Rouge Coco Shine in 'Boy' is one of my all-time favourite lip products. I'd say lipstick, but it's not really a lipstick - it's a sort of balm, gloss, sheer lipstick hybrid - but a spectacular one at that. There's been countless sheer lipstick formulas released the past few years and while a lot of them have their gems, I've still got Chanel's version as the best in my book.

Review: Creme De La Mer The Lip Balm

You all know my love affair with the infamous Creme de La Mer by now (I just bought another tub), but another product from the brand I'm just as in love with is their equally famous and raved about lip balm.

Favourites: March 2014

Spring is finally here and I've been focusing on fresher scents, lighter colours and tempting a tad more of a bronzed and glowy face. I have quite a few goodies in this favourites post. Most of them are brand new, some just new to me - but they are all absolutely fantastic!

Favourites: April 2013

April being over is definitely not a good thing in my book. I have exams all through May, which I am not all that excited about. This is also the reason I've not been posting lately, and probably won't too much until July. I'm quite active on Instagram though, so I'd love it if you added me on there. Still, April's actually been quite an exciting month for makeup for me. With the warmer weather I've felt more like "bothering" again so I've had a lot of fun discovering and re-discovering new products.

Favourites: February 2013

This month have been very simple in the makeup department for me. It's mostly been about getting ready quick and trying to keep my skin and lips from being too dry. I am so ready for the weather to get warmer and to start wearing lighter layers!

Favourites: October 2012

First of all, let me apologize for the lack of posts lately. I'm in the middle of exams and so getting good grades have to be the main priority. I have decided that after my favourites, empties and possibly my 100 days spending ban "reflection post" goes up I will force myself to go on hiatus until all my exams are done. But more on that in a seperate post. Onto my October favourites!
