Empties: September & October 2017

Time ran away from me in September, so I am doing a combined empties post for September and October in one go. Get yourself a cup of tea, it's going to be a massive one!

Empties: January 2017

Sorry about another delay between posts, but work is continuing to be incredibly time-consuming. I've barely been home to sleep the past two weeks. Either way - I'm excited to bring you the very first empties post of 2017.

Empties: October 2016

I can't believe it's almost christmas! We are fast approaching my favourite time of the year - and I've already started planning and buying presents! I haven't decorated - yet, but by the time I'm writing my November empties post, I definitely will have. For my October empties I've finished quite a few products I've been using for a long time. A lot of them came as a surprise, as I wasn't expecting to finish them already, and some was a long time coming. Either way, a really great empties post this time, and I'm especially excited as I finally get to rotate in some new skincare products.

Empties: May 2016

May was quite a fun month. We had the national day here in Norway, the weather was great so I've spent a lot of time enjoying the beautiful outdoors and I went for a little weekend trip to Vilnius. Due to the trip I have a few samples I didn't quite finish over there, but took back with me to finish here. Otherwise there's a lot of regulars, and some things I've been working on for a while. There's also a few makeup items and some nail polish which is super exciting!

2015 Favourites: The Skincare

Following my makeup favourites post, I am of course doing one for my skincare favourites as well. You'll see a lot of products here I've talked about several times before, I think they've all been featured in at least one favourites post, if not more. As with the last post I'm simply listing the products as the post would be too long otherwise. There'll be links to full reviews for the products I have that for, the others I really need to get to 'reviewing'! As I mentioned in my last post, this past year I've had a lot of focus on downsizing my 'stash', which also includes skincare. Therefore there's a few favourite products I've finished and not re-purchased (though I really, really want to!) yet, and that is also the reason the last few products are featured in a collage of promotional pictures by the brands and not pictures I've taken myself. That's all I have to say I think, except please leave me a comment if you have a question about any of the products, or there's one or some that you would like to see me do a full review of that I haven't already. Everything in here are products I love, however, if I've raved about something that isn't in here, it doesn't mean I don't still absolutely love it, I just couldn't feature absolutely everything.

Review: Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil

For some reason I always seem to take the longest to get around to reviewing my favourite products. I think this is partly due to me knowing full well I am absolutely going to re-purchase, so I don't have to rush to write a review, as I do with the products I don't think I'll necessary re-purchase. In the aforementioned favourites category is a Pai product; the much raved about, you have probably heard of it Rosehip Oil. And finally here is my review, another rave indeed.

Empties: October 2015

In October I unfortunately only managed to finish one makeup item, but I did finish quite a bit of full-size skincare. I focused my attention on using up more perfume samples as I really want to start clearing those out as I've got quite a back-up. There's a whole drawer dedicated to different sized perfume samples that I'd like to use for storing something else. Otherwise I'm hoping I'll finish more makeup next month, and think I just might as there's a few things nearing it's end. But for now, onto my empties for October.

Review: Pai Perfect Balance Blemish Serum Copaiba & Zinc

I talked about this a little bit already in my September Favourites post, and figured as I've been using it everyday for the last two months, now was the perfect time to write a full review. Pai is a brand I've come to love and trust. As many of you know I love their Rosehip Oil, it's one of my favourite skincare finds ever, and it was also my introduction to the Pai Skincare brand. My first other serum from them was this; the Perfect Balance Blemish Serum.

Empties: September 2015

This empties post is going to be a bit spoilerish in terms of my use it up project, unfortunately. I wanted to post an update in September, but with my new schedule and also being the lucky recipient of the flu virus, I just couldn't get around to even thinking about it. Other than the makeup items I didn't finish much this month, it's definitely a smaller post than some of my others. Having said that there are a lot of bigger items, stuff I've been working on for a long time, and actually quite a few makeup items, so it's quite exciting still.

Favourites: September 2015

September is always a weird in-between month where it's not still summer, but not quite fall yet, so it's hard to choose what clothes and what kind of makeup to wear. It was also my first month working so I really got to put some products to the test. I quickly fell into habits as I now need something I know works or know how to make work. So these are all a good selection of my go-to fool proof products that I've depended on the last 30 days.

2014 Favourites: The Skincare

Happy New Year Everyone! I decided to take a break from everything including the blog over the christmas holidays as I was just exhausted from all of my exams. Now I'm back though and with loads of posts to do this month about empties, my use-it-up project, projects I'm doing for 2015 and of course my yearly favourites.

Empties: November 2014

Exams finally finished and somehow I've been even more exhausted since. I think all the stress and nerves and not sleeping very well finally caught up to me after it all finished. Fortunately we've had a lovely christmas here. It finally snowed and everywhere is white and beautiful. I've been to dinners and lunches, spending time with family and friends. I've not had too much time to sit down and work on the blog, but I really wanted to stick to getting my november empties up so I've put in ten minutes here and there whenever I've had the chance. Now the post is finally finished so up it goes on christmas eve! So if anyone finds themselves in a moment of boredom perhaps this can be a fun "little" post to read. I hope you are all having a wonderful christmas or holiday season and want to wish you all an amazing new year!

Review: Pai Lotus & Orange Blossom BioAffinity Skin Tonic

I picked up the Pai BioAffinity Skin Tonic on a bit of a whim when I was visiting Dublin this September. I was re-purchasing Pai's infamous Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil, now a firm favourite of mine, and decided to try something else from the brand and settled on something I actually needed; a new toner.

Empties: October 2014

I told you this was going to be massive! My "empties bag" was close to full already just one week into the month, and I've had to put things next to it the last few weeks as it was absolutely overflowing. I considered making this a two-parter like I've done once before, but while it's going to be a long one I'm gonna do it all in one big post. So get that tea, or cup of coffee ready and let's do this.
