Favourites: November 2016

So, here we are at the second-to-last, or perhaps last, favourites post of the year! Usually I skip the December favourites for my yearly favourites post. All the products featured this month are really, really good, and ones I've been using for quite a while. It's all really good stuff, and I'm excited to share them with you. I've talked about some before, but since I've been using them for a while, I felt they deserved a follow-up.

Favourites: July 2016

July was almost entirely a holiday month for me and while I'm sad it's over, part of me is actually quite happy to get back into my routines and feel a bit productive again. I went to Barcelona for my main holiday this year, and I absolutely loved it. I am definitely going back and if you haven't been yet, I absolutely recommend it, it's an amazing city! For my favourites for the past month there's some new products, some I've talked about in the past, and some I've just written reviews on. Keeping with the summer theme - these are all either bronzy warm shades of makeup, something with SPF, or of course just a light wonderful summery perfume.

Review: Bioderma Photoderm SPOT SPF 50+ Cream

Keeping with the SPF trend, I have another SPF containing product to talk about today, a sunscreen to be exact, and this one is by now famous and easily available, french pharmacy brand Bioderma.

Favourites: April 2016

April was a long month. Initially we got some nice weather with promises of spring and sun and all the good stuff, then the weather changed it's mind and we got cold, darkness and even a bit of snow! Other than that I had a fairly quiet month with no travelling, but we did paint the apartment which has been really exciting. In the product department I still didn't buy any new makeup, so those products are re-discoveries, but I do have three brand new skincare items (to me) to talk about. Let's get to it!

Favourites: March 2016

Wow how time flies! I know that's a really annoying way to start a favourites post, as everybody says it, but I can't help it. All the snow has disappeared here and I think friday might officially have been the last time I wore my winter coat this year. I am so excited for summer! I don't know why, but I can't remember last time I was this excited for the warm weather to come around. I'm definitely also in a spring cleaning kind of mood, which in relation to makeup means decluttering. More on that in my empties post, now for some products I've been loving the past month.

Review: Armani Maestro UV Skin Defense Primer SPF 50

As most of you know I'm pretty religious about applying my daily SPF. I apply it every morning after my moisturiser. The extra step doesn't bother me due to all the benefits, but when I heard that Armani was releasing a primer with SPF 50 I knew I had to try it. Who doesn't love a multitasker product?

Empties: October 2015

In October I unfortunately only managed to finish one makeup item, but I did finish quite a bit of full-size skincare. I focused my attention on using up more perfume samples as I really want to start clearing those out as I've got quite a back-up. There's a whole drawer dedicated to different sized perfume samples that I'd like to use for storing something else. Otherwise I'm hoping I'll finish more makeup next month, and think I just might as there's a few things nearing it's end. But for now, onto my empties for October.

Review: La Mer The SPF 50 UV Protecting Fluid

You all probably know my love for La Mer by now, and following finding my favourite night cream and lip balm from the brand, trying another everyday product from the brand seemed like a logical next step. I'm an SPF everyday kinda gal, and so I decided to try their SPF 50 on a bit of a whim, but I am so happy I did.

Favourites: June 2015

We had quite a crappy summer there for a while, but finally the skies cleared, it stopped raining and I'm wearing shorts and my trusted havaianas. I finally started self-tanning and so has taken the opportunity to pull out my darker and more tan-friendly makeup colours to get some use out of them this year as well. I'm always focused on sun protection, but at this time I'm especially on top of my game and have some GREAT products to tell you about!

Review: Supergoop Skin Soothing Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF40

Supergoop is a brand I find really exciting. It's completely focused on providing great sun protection in all kinds of different skincare products. As someone that uses SPF every single day it makes me happy to find a company so focused on making sun care skincare that both perform well in terms of protecting my skin from the sun, but also is and feels good for my skin.

Review: Supergoop Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Cream SPF 37

Spring has officially arrived and we're heading into summer. I thought now would be the perfect time to start reviewing some SPF products. I personally believe in wearing sunscreen all year round all day every day, but I know for most people it's more of a summer thing. Either way, this is a fantastic product, now let me tell you all the reasons why!

Favourites: March 2015

Spring is finally officially here! The snow has almost all disappeared in Oslo and while it's still not super warm, I've been enjoying the milder weather with some long walks around town with my boyfriend. I'm about to head up to the cabin to celebrate easter with my family, but thought I'd do a quick post about my March favourites before I go!

Favourites: July 2014

July has been an amazing month! The weather in Norway has been absolutely perfect - warm and not a cloud in the sky! I've had holidays for most of the month and have spent the time with family and my boyfriend. I've travelled a bit, but also stayed home and enjoyed doing nothing. The month has been fun in terms of makeup, somewhat surprisingly. I picked up a few new items in Berlin, and since getting back, that have all met expectations, or beyond.

Review: Dior Bronze Beautifying Protective Suncare SPF 50

While I've been really happy with my Kiehl's Ultra Light Daily UV Defense, and did re-purchase, I was really keen to try something else as well. Dior's sunscreen has always intrigued me, if for nothing else the beautiful scent it has. It also was the only sunscreen the store I went to had available in SPF 50, so home with me it came.

Review: Kiehl's Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF 50 PA+++ UVA

I picked this sunscreen up on a bit of a whim last year. Kiehl's had just opened it's first store in Norway which put me in a bit of a spending mood. Having just run out of sunscreen plus having heard raves upon raves about the Kiehl's sunscreen I figured it was the perfect time to try this one myself. One year later I'm onto my second tube and I figured with summer fast approaching, it's high time I wrote up a review on what has become one of my all-time favourite sunscreens.
