Favourites: October 2015

So the problem with focusing on using stuff up is when the time comes to write a favourites post. I've pretty much stuck to the same makeup and skincare for the entire month, and the same as I used last month. It's great, cause I'm really getting somewhere with using up my stash, but I don't have much new stuff to talk about. There's two products here that I did just talk about, but they were the two products that stood out the most this month, so it felt natural to include them anyway.

Favourites: September 2015

September is always a weird in-between month where it's not still summer, but not quite fall yet, so it's hard to choose what clothes and what kind of makeup to wear. It was also my first month working so I really got to put some products to the test. I quickly fell into habits as I now need something I know works or know how to make work. So these are all a good selection of my go-to fool proof products that I've depended on the last 30 days.

Review: Oribe Shampoo and Conditioner For Beautiful Color

After buying Oribe's Dry Texturizing and Apres Beach Sprays last summer and being seriously impressed by them I knew I wanted to try some more products from the luxurious range. I bought the Shampoo and Conditioner For Beautiful Color back in December and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. At least in terms of haircare.

Review: Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

That really is the famed Elasticizer in the pictures, I guess they just forgot to put a label on it. None-the-less it's a nice enough white jar full of heavenly goodness for your hair. You've probably heard about this one before, but here's my take on it.

Review: Kerastase Nectar Thermique Leave-In Conditioner

I've been a long-time user of Kerastase products. I've used the Ciment Thermique Leave-In Conditioner for years and love it. It was my hair saviour when bleaching my hair. I've also used the Chroma Thermique which is the leave-in for coloured hair - that left me very impressed as well. With many people raving about the Nectar Thermique, the version for dry hair - I decided it was finally time to try this last "piece of the Thermique puzzle".

Review: Macadamia Haircare Range

As I'm nearing the end of some of my Macadamia products I wanted to write a review on the line. I haven't tried everything from them, but I have tried and used the products above, which are quite a few products still. They are the shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, treatment oil with pump and the spray version.

Favourites: July 2013

We've had quite the fabulous summer here in Norway with mostly sunny days and warm temperatures throughout July! I've enjoyed wearing little makeup and spending shorter time getting ready as I want to hurry getting ready to get outside to enjoy the beautiful weather! These have been my go-to products this month when I've been wanting stuff I know works well without much effort.

Review: Kerastase Ciment Thermique Leave-In Conditioner

I used to use this a lot when I was in my teens - and I absolutely loved it. As I grew older I wanted to experiment with different products so I drifted away from this gem and tried other things. Back in the fall I grew tired of experimenting and I was also curious to see how my old favourites would measure up now that I had other things to compare it too. Was it as great as I thought it was back then?

Favourites: March 2013

Oddly I feel this past month went by slowly instead of too fast, which is usually the case. I think it might be because exams are slowly getting closer and closer and I, personally, would just like them to get here so I can be done with them already. March is one of those in-between months and so my makeup and skincare needs have been a bit back and forth and will probably be a bit for April as well. Here are the favourite products I used in March.

Haul: Huge Collective Haul - Part 1 & A New Sort-Of Empties Project!

I didn't want to post too many haul posts so I figured I'd make one gigantic post about all the new beauty products I own with the intention of showing it so that you could let me know if there is something in particular you would like for me to do a review on. Believe it or not, I actually forgot a few things when taking the pictures for this post, so that's why this is 'Part 1'. Part 2 will be a much, much smaller post, thank god.

Favourites: December 2012

My last post in or about 2012! As I finished my 100 Days Spending Band towards the end of the year and also took a short trip to London I bought a lot of new products in December. They were all things I had wanted for a long time, so no surprise, a lot of them are featured in this post!

100 Days Spending Ban is Over HAUL!

Quite an overdue post, as will the next couple ones be, but better late than never! My final exam finished on the 17th and it's so nice to be done finally. Now however I am in the midst of the christmas rush and am also working every day after my own wishes so am still quite busy. Thank god I finished my gifts back in November and all that was left was to wrap them, it took me 5 long hours yesterday though! This post is about the stuff I bought after I finished my 100 day spending ban. It is quite a few weeks ago now, and I have to admit there are quite a few more hauls coming after this one. It's been nice to write this post now still as it reminds me of how excited I was when I bought all these products.

Review: Kerastase Resistance Forcintense Treatment or 'The Road to Recovery - Part 2'

It's finally time for my first update on my journey back to healthy hair. I admit it has been somewhat more delayed than I had originally planned, but as usual life got in the way as well as wanting to get my hair to a point where I had something to say in terms of the products used and could quote at least some kind of progression.

Hairproducts haul! or "The road to recovery - Part 1"

Make that the long, time consuming, all sucking, mega expensive, sad hairdays due to no styling allowed road to recovery. I made the biggest mistake of all. I didn't overexplain to my hairdresser what I wanted, put my trust in her and now I am paying the price, tenfold.

Review: Phyto Phytojoba Intense Hydrating Mask for Dry Hair

I received four sachets of this product to try some time ago and finally got around to giving it a go. I've never tried anything from 'Phyto' before so I was quite excited.
