Another month passing means another empties post! I don't have quite as much stuff as I usually do, because I travelled for a few days during easter and took samples that I left there. Still, there's quite a few things. A lot of full-size items, mostly skincare and body, but I've finally finished some more hair products!
Hand Chemistry Heel Hydration Complex 100ml ( here )
I just wrote about this in my favourites post, so I'll make this brief. This is my third or something tube I've gone through, and I'm already onto the next. This is a really good foot cream, I highly recommend it if you want nice looking and feeling feet.
Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Buttercream 50ml ( here )
I was a bit disappointed in this. I've used the Body Milk in the past and it smelled absolutely amazing. This smells fine, but not the same, at least not to me. Either way, the product itself is nice enough. Soap and Glory do really good body butters, and this is another one.
The Body Shop Glazed Apple Shimmer Lotion 250ml ( limited edition )
I loved this scent that The Body Shop released for the holidays and hope they bring it back next year. The lotion itself was nice, I could've done without the shimmer that ended up everywhere.
Victoria's Secret Coconut Passion Vanilla & Coconut Fragrance Mist 250ml ( here )
I bought this in New York purely for sentimental reasons. I used to order from Victoria's Secret when I was a teenager, and would always choose one of the fragrance mists. Finally being in a Victoria's Secret stores I felt I needed to fulfill my teenage wish of actually buying some in store, so I did. However, I don't actually use fragrance mists, I use real perfume, so I didn't really have a use for it. I've used it up as room spray, and it's quite nice like that. I'm now onto my second, and last, bottle that I am also using as a room spray.
Biotherm Deo Pure Antipersperant Roll-On 75ml ( here )
I've used this deodorant on and off since I was a teenager. It's really good. It doesn't have much of a scent, just smells "clean", and it's great for more sensitive skin. It's also efficient and one lasts for ages. I will definitely buy it again.
Over the moon about... Orange & Lime Hand Lotion 75ml ( limited edition )
I've finally finished the last of the trio of these I bought in a christmas set. The reason I didn't like them was the formula didn't really do much in terms of hydration, and I've got dry hands, especially in the winter, so I need my hand creams to actually do something. Besides that, this was definitely the best smelling one, and so the one I enjoyed the most. I love the mix of orange and lime, a bit sweet from the oranges and then the lime brings the punch.
I've been trying to go through my styling and leave-in products for a long time, but these take aages, even with my long hair, so I'm super happy to finally be getting through some, even though I loved both of these products.
Oribe Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream 150ml ( here )
I've used quite a few Oribe products by now, and I still haven't found one I don't absolutely love. This is a light-weight leave-in conditioner, perfect to use on the ends, without giving up on the volume. It also smells insanely good.
Leonor Greyl Tonique Végétal Leave-In Treatment for Oily Scalps 150ml ( here )
This actually works, I swear. I bought it thinking there was no way, but hey why not try just for fun. I part my hair and spray this directly onto my scalp, as much as I can, and then try to spread the product evenly. I do this after towel drying my hair, and it adds a whole day of not having to wash my hair, which is incredible.
Bioderma Créaline Solution Micellaire 500ml ( here )
I don't think I need to say much more about this. This just might be my tenth bottle of this stuff. I love it. I love it for removing makeup on my face, and on my eyes. Especially on my eyes. This is just about the only eye-makeup remover that doesn't sting my sensitive eyes.
Biotherm Biosource Instant Hydration Softening Lotion 125ml ( here )
I've now finished my last one of these deluxe samples. This is a very nice toner. It's thicker, definitely hydrating, and it does treat the skin a bit. It's not my absolute favourite, and it's not something I'll run out and buy, but I could definitely end up buying the full-size at some point.
Clarins One-Step Facial Cleanser 50ml ( here )
This is nice enough, I have nothing bad to say about it. It removes makeup well, it's a bit oily. It's not as gentle as the Bioderma, but I can use it on my eyes as well. If you don't have Bioderma available to you, I'd recommend trying this.
La Roche-Posay Serozinc 150ml ( here )
Another one of these. I've gone through countless. I spray this all over my face and neck every morning after washing my face. I pat it across the skin and let it absorb for a minute or two before I continue with my skincare. I love it, onto my next bottle and already ordered two more backups, I just can not be without this.
Nude ProGenius Treatment Oil 30ml ( review - here )
I finally posted a full review of this just this past month, so if you are interested in this I'd recommend reading that for more information. This is my second bottle I've finished, and I'm already onto the next. I absolutely love this. It is amazing and does all the best things for my skin. When I apply this my skin always looks better the next morning, always.
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum II 15ml ( review - here )
I also just wrote a review on this. I don't know if I've been through just one or two, or more, of this. That's because I've used the first version since it launched, and then moved straight onto the new one. Either way, I love it, and will definitely buy it again, though I am tempted to try something else next just to have something to compare it to as it's still the only eye serum I've used.
Aesop Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Hydrator 60ml ( review - here )
This is so good! It moisturises really well, but while still being really light and not at all greasy. It's also packed full of anti-oxidants and gives my skin a really nice healthy glow.
Clarins HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase 15ml ( here )
This is an oil-mix serum that you have to shake up to mix together. It hydrates quite well, not spectacularly, and it is a bit greasy. It's nice, but not something I'll purchase the full-size of.
Kanebo Sensai Cellular Performance Lifting Eye Cream 2ml ( here )
This is quite nice. It's not in my top 5, but it's nice. It's a thicker cream, so I would warm it up on the back of my hand before applying it. It hydrates well and that's about it.
Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil in 01 Honey 7ml ( here )
I absolutely love this! I've been using it mostly at home, but pretty much everyday. I usually always have dry lips even when using good lip balms, but this one has actually helped my lips feel ok even with nothing on them. I will definitely buy this again! Clarins is coming out with a red version as part of their summer collection, I think, and I really want to get that!
Revlon Matte Powder Blush in 003 Perfectly Peach 5.1g ( discontinued )
This I've kept around for ages. It was my last remaining drugstore blush, and one of my most used blushes, though you can't tell. I'm amazed at how much I've reached for this, but it barely shows. Either way, I went to use it the other day and I saw it had developed hard pan. It's almost impossible to get any pigmentation out of it anymore, so in the bin it goes. The colour was beautiful, and if they still made this I just might've picked up a new one.
Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray Oil-Control 118ml ( review - here )
I won't go too much into this as I've used it for years and so mentioned it about a hundred times. There's a full review if you want to read it. I'm onto my next bottle.
Shiseido Pureness Oil-Controlling Blotting Paper 10 Sheets ( here )
I love these. I have the full size, but also a few more of these smaller sample sizes, that goes perfectly in smaller hand bags or makeup bags. They are perfect because I don't use them often. This as I don't go out much and so never really feel the need to touch up. When I do though, these are brilliant. They soak the oil off my face without moving or removing any of my makeup.
Stella McCartney Stella Eau de Toilette ( here )
I never liked the original Stella, and I never used to really like any rose or very floral scents, but that's suddenly changed this spring. This could be very different to the eau de parfum version, I can't recall as I don't have it, obviously. Either way I like it, it's a sweeter floral, but still quite a clean scent. It has notes of rose, peony, lemon, amber, mandarin orange, freesia and violet.
Prada Candy Florale Eau de Toilette ( here )
I love the other Prada Candy scents, but didn't particularly like this when it released, due to the floral notes. As mentioned, I've recently grown to enjoy floral scents, which includes this. It has notes of peony, limoncello, caramel, honey, musk and benzoin.
Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette ( here )
Another classic. I have the perfume version, but enjoy this one as well. It's a very sweet scent, but with personality, is how I like to describe it. Notes are patchouli, bergamot, orange, litchi, rose, jasmine, grapefruit, vetiver, musk and bourbon vanilla.
